Juniors 1 of Rugbyclub Haarlem are Dutch champions. The Juniors (U16) final was played between Rugbyclub Haarlem and Amstelveense Rugby Club. Haarlem had a very strong season and finished convincingly top of the league, although the earlier meetings this season had gone Amstelveen's way. That gave the final extra edge.
From the first whistle Haarlem showed why they had led the table. With high tempo, plenty of control in possession and a strong organisation they took the initiative straight away. Amstelveen worked hard and tried to play their way out from under the pressure, but Haarlem proved too strong in transition and in finishing.
As the match went on Haarlem pulled further ahead, while Amstelveen kept fighting despite the deficit and did not give up easily. The final score was a convincing 39-17, crowning Haarlem national champions for the 2025/2026 season.
