Rugbyclub Haarlem has been named Sports Facility of the Year 2026 by NOC*NSF and Kenniscentrum Sport & Bewegen.
According to the jury, the club shows that sustainability is not just about technology, but above all about involving members, volunteers and other clubs. For twelve years the club has been working on a future-proof facility, resulting in major energy savings and an energy-positive clubhouse. The clubhouse was renovated sustainably and various sustainable initiatives have been set up within the club.
