The club has had an awards committee since 2010. Its members are:
- Chair: Pepijn van Dijk
- Secretary: Do Dinkla
- Member: Marcel Leeuwerink
- Member: Michelle Nijssen
The awards committee is the independent body within the club that assesses every award nomination against the requirements and criteria set in advance for that award. The committee checks and tests the reasons given in the nomination and gathers extra information where needed. It then gives independent advice, which the board formally handles at the board meeting.
The criteria are set out in the protocol, which guides how nominations are handled. Have a question about the protocol, or want a nomination form? Email the committee secretary: onderscheidingen@rugbyclubhaarlem.nl.
